Security equipment and installation for your property

  • Visitor intercoms and lobby directories. A video intercom can allow a visitor to contact an authorized person before entering. We review the directory, call destinations, and door-release options for the chosen platform. If the building has several offices, each should know which calls it is expected to answer. Discuss missed calls and early arrivals as well as the normal appointment process so the system works outside an ideal demonstration.
  • Access control readers for staff entrances. Employees may use a card, fob, or supported phone credential while visitors contact reception. We plan permissions around office hours, cleaning, and access to shared rooms. Check who owns the main door and who can approve hardware changes. We inspect the lock, closer, wiring, and controller because the access software depends on the physical entrance working properly.
  • Security cameras for lobby coverage. A camera can show entry and movement through an agreed common area. It should not automatically point into every occupant’s workspace. We discuss the areas to cover, lighting, and who may view or export recordings. For a shared property, that decision belongs with the authorized owner and occupants. We configure supported permissions to reflect the arrangement rather than distributing one unrestricted login.
  • Video management software for building managers. We assess the current recorder, cameras, network, and storage. If you want remote access, we confirm the requirements and supported functions. The person responsible for an incident should know how to find the entrance view and save relevant video. We also identify which equipment can be retained and explain any compatibility limit before proposing a wider upgrade.
  • Intercom directory and door-release planning. Prepare the occupant names that visitors should see, the authorized call recipient for each, and the fallback when that person is unavailable. Keep personal details out of public labels where a business name will do. Agree who updates the directory when an occupant changes. This is a small administrative decision that has a large effect on whether visitors can use the entrance confidently.

Projects can include the equipment and services below. We assess your site and existing systems before confirming the products, installation work, and support in your proposal.

  • Security camera installation - Indoor and outdoor cameras, network video recorders, and video storage. We mount cameras, run cable, configure recording, and test the view at each location.
  • Access control installation - Card and fob readers, electronic door locks, controllers, credentials, and management software. We install the selected equipment and configure who can enter each door and when.
  • Video management systems - Software for live camera viewing, recording playback, video export, and user permissions. We configure supported cloud, on-site, or hybrid systems and check existing camera compatibility.
  • AI video software - Software that searches recordings or flags selected activity for review. We assess equipment compatibility, configure the selected functions, and test them against the project requirements.

  • Business phone systems - Business phones, VoIP service configuration, call routing, and paging. We coordinate the equipment, network readiness, installation, testing, and staff transition.

Monitoring, entry, and video software solutions

  • Remote video monitoring - Connect compatible cameras to a monitoring service, with event review and response instructions defined for the property.
  • Visitor and contractor management - Plan visitor entry, intercom calls, and supported door-access permissions around the people who approve access.
  • License plate recognition - Select cameras and software for reading vehicle plates. Camera position, lighting, vehicle speed, and system compatibility determine suitability.
  • Workplace safety video analytics - Assess software for selected safety events, such as PPE or forklift activity, and configure alerts for staff review. Detection depends on the selected system and conditions.
  • Complete security system installation and support - Coordinate cameras, door access, video software, cabling, and selected monitoring or maintenance services in one project scope.

Make a shared entrance work for appointments and staff arrivals

Mineola’s New York Forward investment plan discusses connecting the train station area with the downtown core. For a nearby office or mixed-use building, arrivals may be concentrated at certain times while different businesses keep different hours. A shared front door needs a clear visitor process, especially if reception is upstairs or not continuously staffed. We plan the system around your appointment routine and the people authorized to manage the building.

From design through service

  1. List the occupants and hours. Include the businesses, their reception arrangements, cleaners, and the person managing the building. Mark the shared entrance and any separate staff door. Tell us how a first-time visitor currently reaches the right office.
  2. Agree on ownership and scope. We identify the cameras, intercom, controlled doors, wiring, storage, and user setup needed. Establish who pays for and manages shared equipment. Any work assigned to the landlord, IT provider, or another contractor should be explicit.
  3. Test real arrival scenarios. Try a scheduled visitor, an early employee, and an after-hours cleaner. Check the intercom destination, door permission, and relevant camera view for each. We also test recording and playback, not only live video.
  4. Prepare for staff changes. Show the authorized administrator how to add and remove users within the agreed scope. Record support contacts and who handles equipment or account questions. Clear ownership is especially useful when an office changes managers or a tenant moves out.
