What Lumeo is

Lumeo is a video-intelligence platform built around configurable analytics pipelines. It connects to camera, NVR, and VMS streams, runs selected computer-vision models, and routes the resulting events into searches, alerts, dashboards, or other systems. Lumeo publishes a no-code workflow builder, an analytics library, AI Search, and deployment options that can place processing close to the cameras or in a cloud environment.

  3. Place and size the gateway: determine where analytics will run and whether the site, customer cloud, or Lumeo cloud model fits policy and performance needs.
  4. Build and tune the pipeline: configure the model, zones, thresholds, schedules, event logic, and destination for each alert.
  5. Run an acceptance test: measure useful detections and nuisance events against real site conditions before adding cameras.

Camera angle and scene quality are often more important than the model name. A wide overview camera may record an incident but still be poorly positioned for a detailed operational classification.
